    Professional Overview

I graduated with my DNP in the Care of Populations track for the adult and pediatric populations. I became certified in Lifestyle Medicine since November 2020 with an emphasis of a trajectory to wellness without the use of medications for chronic conditions that can be modified with lifestyle. I teach undergraduate adult-medical surgical and also do clinicals in pediatrics and/or adult. I also teach an undergraduate elective course titled, "LIfestyle Approaches and Well-Being in Nursing" to seniors in their last semester focusing on the 6 pillars of wellness which is similar to the Healthy Nurse Healthy Nation initiatives.
