N2 - This paper describes the ongoing efforts in the mechanical, aerospace, and Manufacturing Engineering Department at Polytechnic University to develop a multi-disciplinary, practice-oriented, control education program. This program exploits recent advances in PC and DSP-based real-time control hardware/software and the commercial availability of numerous educational control experimental setups. In particular, we describe the current status of the laboratory development effort and future plans.
