Abstract

This study explored relationships between dental caries and periodontal disease and either (1) any of 8 existing orthodontic indices or (2) any of 41 individual cephalometric measures. The 486 subjects examined revealed no clinically significant associations between any of the disease measures and either the indices or the cephalometric measurements.
