Abstract

We demonstrate a broadband 1310/1550 nm wavelength (de) multiplexer using a compact 41 µm long multimode interference (MMI) waveguide. Measurements exhibit an extinction ratio better than 13 dB (17 dB at center wavelengths) covering 1275-1355 nm and 1500-1600 nm wavelengths.
