Abstract
This article presents an edition of a fragmentary papyrus that was excavated at Karanis in 2010 by the joint expedition of the University of California, Los Angeles, the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, and the University of Auckland (URU) Fayum Project. The papyrus contains a letter (second century CE) that is badly damaged but is notable nonetheless because it was written by the same author as BGU 3.846, the well-known “Letter of a Prodigal Son.”
