Asymmetric lossless image compression technique

Abstract

A new lossless compression technique is presented that is well-suited for asymmetric applications. It gives superior performance compared to other lossless compression techniques reported in the literature. Hence, it can also potentially be adopted in symmetric applications that require high compression ratios.
