title = "Bioactive Peptides for non-viral gene delivery",
abstract = "The development of a local gene delivery system based on small peptides that can be covalently cross-linked into fibrin matrices was proposed. The peptide-DNA condensates as non-viral vectors were investigated. It was observed that DNA condensates formed with a mutant TG-peptide were not covalently linked to fibrin. The experiments suggest that peptide-DNA condensates were covalently incorporated into the matrix whereas PLL-DNA condensates were retained in the matrix by their size and charge.",
