Abstract

A framework for integrated personalization and management of multimedia content which allows non-intrusive observation of user actions over time, enabling collection of consumption-related data without explicit user input is presented. The system has been tested using the MovieLens dataset and preliminary recommendation experiments using only genre information yield results that are as good as, or better than, those previously published.
