Abstract
New development in extruder design and extrusion technology are reported which are related to systems displayed on Plastics Exhibition, Chicago, 1971. Coextrusion with the use of two different materials incorporated in fully automated production lines of films, sheets and profiles seems to be the highlight of the exposition. Twin- screw extruders of new design with special features are also described in this report.
