    Abstract

The GUT symmetry breaking pattern can be changed in the core of the cosmic string. This can lead to the accumulation of the X-, Y-, W±-gauge boson condensates on the phase boundary around the vortex. A similar condensation of the gauge bosons, which may take place during different phase transitions in the early Universe, can play some role in the generation of the baryon asymmetry.
