Abstract
To analyse the possible role of the polymer nature of the globule in the functioning of the enzyme the author considers an equilibrium complex of a homopolymer liquid-like globule with a solid sphere modelling the substrate. It is shown that the presence of linear memory in the globule may lead to increase in the crushing moment of force acting on the substrate, to additional phasic conversions associated with the transitions of the substrate from the centre of the globule to the periphery and back, etc. The form of the surface of the globule adsorbed on substrate is calculated.
