    Abstract

Critical field enhancement near a superconductor-insulator transition was presented. A simple quantitative model was used to analyse the phenomena. In a quasi one dimensional system (TMTSF)2PF6 near the critical pressure regime separating superconductor and spin density wave states, a large enhancement and upward curvature of the b and c axis was observed. Results showed that the phenomena where the orbital pair breaking effect is reduced can happen in any system which is near a superconductor-insulator phase boundary.
