Abstract

The decoherence-free subspaces (DFS) condition for multiple-qubit errors was discussed. The subspaces based on the assumption of spatially symmetric system-bath coupling were presented. The multiple-qubit coupling to the bath was studied using a model of system-bath interactions. The universal and fault tolerant quantum computation on the decoherence-free subspaces were also performed.
