Abstract

This paper sums up to the state of knowledge and attempts to define the conclusions drawn from papers submitted and discussions held at the Seventh European Conference on Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering. Subjects covered include reinforcement earth, micropiles, special drainage techniques, consolidation under cyclic loads, dynamic compaction, stabilization, grouting and freezing.
