Distributed control of multi-agent systems with pulse-width-modulated controllers

Abstract

This paper studies the distributed control of multi-agent systems with pulse-width-modulated (PWM) control inputs. A necessary and sufficient condition on the PWM control laws is given for uniform asymptotic state agreement with directed and switched information exchange topologies. The methodology is validated by a computer-based simulation.
