Abstract

Experimental techniques concerning measurement of partial electron impact ionization cross sections were presented. The study also included the determination of kinetic energy releases for fragment ions, and derivation of appearance energies for parent and fragment ions. Propane was used to model the case study performed through sector field mass spectrometry.
