All editors jointly reviewed the main research articles, and commissioned and invited the accompanying editorials. Ryan McNeil, Marie Jauffret-Roustide, and Helena Hansen authored the introductory editorial "Reducing Drug-Related Harms and Promoting Health Justice Worldwide During and After COVID-19: An AJPH Supplement".
