Abstract

The paper 'Sounding stellar cycles with Kepler - II. Ground-based observations' was published in Mon. Not. R. Astron. Soc. 433, 3227-3238 (2013). Here we correct equation 15, which should read: log P_rot = (0.59 ± 0.29) log Age + 0.45 ± 0.19 (1) and equation 16, which should read: log P_rot = (0.47 ± 0.22) log Age + log f (B - V ) + 0.81 ± 0.10. (2) The error arose from erroneously swapping the y-intercept and the slope. The solid lines in Figs. 14 & 15 are still correct and none of the conclusions in the paper have changed.
