Abstract
By varying the microwave power absorbed by a magnetic impurity at resonance it is possible to change the effective spin temperature and hence both the magnetization and conduction electron scattering from the impurity. Since both the magnetization and scattering contribute to the pairbreaking in a superconductor, the application of a strong ESR field can induce either a normal metal superconducting or a superconductor normal depending on the selected properties of the alloy system.
