    Abstract

The Anderson negative- V model for diamagnetic glasses is studied. The optical and thermodynamic excitations are evaluated for equilibrated and non-equilibrated systems. The model is generalized to include non-local phonons and these are shown to lead to new low-energy processes which may be important for thermodynamic properties.
