Abstract

The recent data on the EAS size spectrum, and on the rate of 'Horizontal Air Showers' (HAS), as detected by the EAST-TOP experiment at Campo Imperatore (LNGS), are presented. Their implications for the interpretation of underground muon data, and for UHE neutrino astronomy are discussed.
