Abstract

An overview is given of the factorized time correlation (FTC) diagram analysis of I Raman induced Kerr effect spectroscopy (RIKES). In particular, the asymmetric terms with carry librational coherence information are identified diagrammatically. It is shown that these terms carry librational phasing information rather than librational lifetime information. The peak to background ratio is also discussed.
