Abstract

The European Telecommunications Standards Institute launched the Industry Specification Group (ISG) on Experiential Networked Intelligence (ENI) in February 2017. The work carried out in ENI in the first year was summarized in [1]. In this article, we give a comprehensive review of the recent developments of ISG ENI in the second year, focusing on the architecture, reference points, and their categorization and applications to specific use cases, as well as proofs of concepts developed in ENI on intelligent network operation and management using artificial intelligence.
