    Abstract

It is shown that condensation of grand unified gauge bosons can occur during certain high temperature first order phase transitions. Investigations of high temperature SU (5) GUT shows that under well-defined conditions, a condensate of the Xμ boson can appear in the early stages of the evolution of the universe. This mechanism could play an important role in understanding the existing baryon asymmetry.
