How big are anomalous dimensions?

    Abstract

    The anomalous dimension of the isovector tensor operator analogous to the energy-momentum tensor is estimated using measured deep-inelastic structure functions and the known value of the proton-neutron mass difference. It is found to be about 0.04 or smaller.
