H2 and mixed-H2/H stable stabilization

Abstract

This paper presents sufficient conditions for designing stable H2 and H2/H controllers. Specifically, we generalize previous results on strong stabilization using fixed-structure controller design by providing several new closed-loop Lyapunov/Riccati equations that guarantee that the compensator dynamics are stable prior to carrying out the optimization.
