Item-total correlations, split half reliabilities, test-retest reliabilities and correlations with IQ formed the basis for determining general construct validity and stability of the measure. The measure demonstrated satisfactory reliability and validity. Age and gender were found to influence the ability to construct a humor response. The measure was found to be most useful for measuring humor responses response. The measure was found to be most useful for measuring humor responses in children ages 5 to 10.
