Imaging of the optic nerve head and neck fiber layer in glaucoma

Abstract

Advances in technology have led to improvements in imaging of the optic nerve head and the retinal nerve fiber layer. Several different technologies are currently used to image these structures. With the high resolution images and measurements obtained with these devices, earlier diagnosis of glaucoma and its progression may be possible.
