Abstract

This letter presents a simple and practical enhancement of a previously published method, based on the method of images, for the computation of the inductance matrix of transformer windings for high-frequency transients. It is first shown that this method can present problems when applied to mutilayer windings. Then, a modification that solves the problem is proposed and validated.
