Instrumented double–wall pipe pile to study behavior of piles

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

This chapter documents the design and fabrication of an instrumented double-wall pipe pile that has been developed to study the effects of the installation process on the axial load capacity of driven pipe piles in sand. The chapter also describes the design of miniature pore pressure transducers, which were developed specially for the double-wall pile.
