N2 - Our world is increasingly connected due to the adoption of smart devices and Internet of Things (IoT). Not only does the connectivity of the network itself grows but also networks are interconnected with other networks which create interdependent networks. For example, the power networks are nowadays integrated with communication networks with the advances of the smart grid technologies. Transportation networks are connected with social networks through on-demand transport systems. The deeply interconnected cyber-physical-social networks create new challenges for improving the resiliency at different scales against all hazards from nature, terrorism, and deliberate cyber attacks.
