Isophthalic acid-derived organogelators

Abstract

In this paper, we report the design and synthesis of a novel isophthalic acid derived organogelator. The gels were characterized by NMR, circular dichroism and SEM. We further demonstrated that the carboxylic acid and the urea groups play key roles during self-association and gelation.
