Abstract

This forum on Laminar Flows was organized with the intention of providing an opportunity to researchers for the presentation of the latest developments in this field. Reflecting the renewed importance of this area in numerous industrial processes and applications, this forum is the first of a series sponsored by the ASME Fluids Engineering Division to be offered every other year. The forum has attracted papers in diverse areas such as jet flows, separated flows, thermally induced flows, and non-Newtonian flows.
