Abstract
This article analyzes the situation of transmedia storytelling in the Latino fiction in the U.S. The study -the first output of a still ongoing exploratory research-focuses on the mapping of practices and the identification of common patterns of transmedia strategies and user-generated contents. The text also analyses the emergence of webnovelas and reflects on the status and potencialities of transmedia storytelling in the Latino fiction.
