Abstract

Random sequential adsorption on a lattice with next neighbor exclusion but nonuniform flux is mapped onto a class of non-repeating random walks. Several special cases are worked out in detail, and a number of reduction formulae derived for both coverage and occupation-occupation correlations. Representation of Bethe lattice 2-point correlations by a Gaussian model permits approximate reduction to a regular lattice to be carried out, and preliminary results are obtained.
