title = "Membrane-less microfluidic fuel cell with multiphase streams",
abstract = "Microfluidic fuel cells (MFCs) use laminar streams of fuels and oxidants to carry out the two corresponding half reactions while keeping them unmixed. This allows for removal of the solid membrane/separator present in classical fuel cells, leading to a simple design. However, due to the limited solubility of fuels such as hydrogen in liquid electrolytes, their study in MFCs has been limited to a few demonstration with performances limited by mass transport. In this work, we present a two phase system which relaxes the mass transport limitations of single phase systems.",
