Abstract

Purpose of the Review: The objective of this review is to arm the clinician with state-of-the-art advances to optimize mucogingival tissue management during impacted maxillary canine treatment. Recent Findings: State-of-the-art implementations including advanced imaging, surgical and regenerative innovations, biomechanical advancements and improved multidisciplinary communication optimizes mucogingival tissue management in impacted canine cases. Summary: As available evidence basis accumulates and matures around emerging technology, mucogingival tissue management of impacted maxillary canine can be better, faster and more efficiently translated to chairside application.
