Abstract

A new technique to obtain the model order and matrix system parameters of multichannel stable rational minimum phase systems from a finite set of output autocorrelation matrices is presented here. In this context, the class of all spectral extensions that interpolate the given autocorrelation matrices is utilized to obtain rational and stable approximation of nonrational multichannel systems.
