Multiple echoes initiated by a single radio frequency pulse in NMR

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Multiple spin echoes are reported to occur after the application of a single radio-frequency pulse. These are explained by a correlation between the inhomogeneities of the static B0 field and the radio-frequency B1 field on the one hand and by the occurrence of dipolar demagnetising field effects on the other.
