Abstract
The title compound, C10H9NO2Se, crystallizes as flat molecules linked by selenium-oxygen interactions [Se⋯O = 3.189 (4) Å] into a linear chain along the a axis of the triclinic cell. The bond dimensions that are derived from ab initia geometry optimization calculations are similar to those determined from the diffraction measurements.
