Abstract
The paper considers the problem of the relative role of the energy and entropy contribution to elastic tensions developing in the body of the globule on absorption of the substrate. A complete solution is given for the simple model of the globule. Analysis of the results leads to the conclusion that the entropy part of the elasticity is not small (high or of the same order) as compared with the energetic if only special globules with energetic elasticity do not have evolutionary advantages.
