Abstract

In this paper, a new real-time resonance tuning method for wireless power transfer circuits is presented. This method tunes the resonance by control of the effective reactance through inductive coupling with an additional one-turn coil of variable inductance circuit. This method reduces power loss and stress of the switching devices. Circuit analysis, simulation and experimental results are described.
