Abstract

Additive inverse eigenvalue problem is discussed which arises in the solution of inverse Sturm-Liouville problems. In practice it happens frequently that only some eigenvalues are given. However, for the purpose of analysis it is convenient to consider the case where the number of parameters, eigenvalues and the order of the matrices is the same.
