Abstract

I think that resistance is important because it affirms our humanity, and it reminds us that we can be more than simply victims of oppression or observers of a particular historical moment. By resisting, we affirm our innate human ability to act in the world. And I think that that’s why it’s so inspiring to write about, to read about, and to see.
