Abstract
This technical note deals with (local) asymptotic stabilization of uncertain nonlinear systems by output feedback control. Our study provides a new design technique from a vector control Lyapunov function perspective. A comparison principle is developed and as a major consequence, an effective estimation method of the region of attraction (ROA) is established. Application to a class of minimum-phase strict-feedback nonlinear systems gives rise to a constructive stabilization design as well as an estimate of the resulting ROA.
