N2 - Parametric decay of an obliquely (to the magnetic field) propagating electron plasma wave to an obliquely propagating electron plasma sideband and a lower hybrid wave is studied. This decay process is then considered as a cascade channel for electron plasma waves to broaden their downshifted frequency spectra. The dependence of the threshold pump field on the number of cascade is determined.
