Abstract
A software package is described based on the full-wave, spectral-domain moment method that permits analysis of general multilayer geometries on a PC. The analysis method uses exact Greens functions for a general multilayer medium that can be computed by using an iterative algorithm. A moment method solution with a Galerkin testing procedure is used to enforce the required boundary conditions. The spectral-domain perturbation technique is used to calculate the dielectric and conductor losses, and the propagation constant. The validity of the analysis was verified by comparing the results of a number of standard geometries.
