Abstract

An exact, 3-dimensional, analytical description of the current distribution in the nozzle of an MHD channel, under imposed open conditions, is obtained. Strong vorticity of the current flow and high current concentration in the small regions toward the one side of the sidewalls and near the exit of the channel are found.
