Abstract

This is a report on the use of in- plant color- blending facilities in plastics processing plant followed by presentation of a guide to the different appra followed by presentation of a guide to the different approaches that can be taken and to the benefits they offer. Two techniques, namely dry color and the use of concentrate, are comprehensively discussed and compared with each other from technical and economic viewpoints. Recommendations for practice are included together with cost considerations.
