Protein chime

Abstract

A protein chime that rings after every 70 seconds, acting like a biochemical clock, was created. It consisted of eight circuits, each containing three, five, seven or nine proteins. The production of one of the proteins in the circuit was forced so as to start any of the circuits in the clock.
